1.
Move me with your breath move me with your vibration let our hearts grow beyond separation let me feel the silk of your skin the blood rushing in your hands that hold me let me see the edge of your smile the mischief behind your eyes so holy let me hear you whisper words wisdom earned from the divine let me feel the way that we move trace curves so smooth we intertwine Move me with your breath move me with your vibration let our hearts grow beyond separation
2.
We are amplifying beauty through our voice and our song we are amplifying beauty our voices are strong We are awakening seedlings pushing through the ground we are awakening with the morning birdsong love is stronger than fear and it echos beyond the sky love is louder than fear so we raise our voices high We are amplifying beauty through our voice and our song we are amplifying beauty our voices are strong
3.
Count down the days but I'll deny I'm attached to running my hands down your back but I don't know if or when I'll feel your skin again or your long hair down my shoulders I know you're under quarantine but if you reach for me I won't turn away I know you're under quarantine Our time was brief you kissed my cheek and I knew it could be dangerous 'cause we never know which step will be the last one so we'll keep taking chances and in our isolation I only want you more does that make me sick inside all I know is, we both need a little healing (do do do do do da do da dooo ;) ) I know you're under quarantine but if you reach for me I won't turn away I know you're under quarantine
4.
You ask for another pill to ease the pain but I can only offer my touch you say our voices ache in your bones and the metal holding them together You put flowers in my hair a few days ago a few miles from here could I trade this hospital bleach for that sweet perfume and the ocean for your tears I wish I could heal you... but all I can do is hold your hand and touch your face as we gaze toward paradise and follow the sun towards a new day through the night could I steal you still attached to needles while we sit down by the shore we made it so complicated when we thought we were immortal all I can do is hold your hand and touch your face as we gaze toward paradise and follow the sun towards a new day through the night
5.
We see beyond destruction to honor new creation we are together in grace through transformation as we flow with the river of lava flow with the waves that carve her shore flow with the rain falling from the clouds flow with the way she creates our home sisters balance fire and water in their timeless dance we can choose to move beside them to understand their flow with the river of lava flow with the waves that carve her shore flow with the rain falling from the clouds flow with the way she creates our home
6.
We drank deep the poison sugar sweet trapped the queen in her palace and told her it's ours to keep now that we feel the sickness in us we search for antidotes in stories silenced by our greed stories of connection with the land and our relations rising with the lava beneath what would we sacrifice in the name of healing? are we awake or just not dreaming? are we ready for new earth or will we buy and sell what we can never keep? can we tear up the pavement if we still walk the same streets? hiding behind illusions of security and these hotels and walls dividing our family can we refuse the sweet poison return land to her daughters and sons listen to her elder guardians what would we sacrifice in the name of healing? are we awake or just not dreaming?
7.
I see you kneeling In your garden picking a handful of kale You catch my eye with your peaceful demeanor and your long ponytail We bike through streets of Portland Floral perfume in the air I hope I remembered to clean my dishes And put on good underwear ‘Cause I know you could share a small space You could be my four leaf clover You live a simple life I should invite you over So we can make love (woo!) In my tiny house loft I Got a 4 inch mattress that’s mighty soft So let’s make love (woo!) in my tiny house loft I’ll hold you tight so you don’t fall off...my tiny house Loft You ask if I get claustrophobic I ask if you’re over 5’8” We stop for wine and cheese to enjoy on our date ‘Cause I know You could share a small space you keep intentions pure You live a simple life and compost humanure CHORUS We eat on a drum that’s also a table toes touch across the floor You’re three feet from my heart and a few inches from the door You ignore the onion smell from the sink as I ask what you think I search your eyes for any regret and you reply, “it’s not the size, but how you use it” CHORUS
8.
I swim with my baby balanced on my head she's another hope I won't give up for dead grandma sings of days salmon danced us home now we glide in slender silence searching for their bones would you save me if you understood my song would you save me would you save me breach the dams set the river free would you save me you built walls across the water to harness her power how many lights are worth the lives of our sons and daughters our music echos from the same soul and without each other we are not whole would you save me if you understood my song would you save me would you save me breach the dams set the river free would you save me we are calling calling to you
9.
Golden light sculpts crescents in the leaves and traces outlines around your bodies reveals the shadows you cast upon the earth and invites your rebirth 'cause you've been dropping bombs and shooting guns squandering your opposable thumbs when your hands are stardust meant to heal and hold and love and join together under a sky of lavender as the moon eclipses the sun and you remember our connection we are aligning with our true power we are aligning with our true light silver arms reach to the stars extending from the darkest portal beyond the reality you thought existed just as you thought you were still when you're always spinning and in this moment - do you see infinite possibilities awakening in your vision 'cause you've been stuck thinking this is how it has to be forgetting the moon's halo reflects your own beauty we are aligning with our true power we are aligning with our true light
